ADMIRAL RAPHAEL SEMMES CAMP #11
SONS OF CONFEDERATE VETERANS
MOBILE, ALABAMA

Confederate Veterans Magazine Back Issues

Many institutions are helping to preserve our past by transforming written materials and photos into digital files.  The Duke University Library has been a leader in this field.  One of their projects was to digitize the back issues (from 1893 to 1923) of the Confederate Veteran Magazine.  They have made them available on their website as well as on the Internet Archive website. Both of these sites, while quite robust, are somewhat dificult to use.

To make it easy for all to find and download these heirlooms, the Rankin Rough and Ready's Camp 265 in Brandon, Mississippi has collected them into one page of easily downloadable files on their website.

Information on more current issues may be found at this SCV blog site.
